Mobile document verification kit

The mobile document verification kit MDV-05 is a compact system for the easy verification of document security safeguards and for the detection of counterfeit and forged documents. Particularly well suited for passport and identity card checks at airports, border crossings, on board ships or during field operations targeted at illegal immigrants, the MDV-05 kit is lightweight and easily carried in a pocket or worn on a belt.

The MDV-05 comprises two parts, a compact magnifying device with seven light sources and a specialised viewer for verifying retroreflective security features such as the 3M confirm™ laminate. The magnifier is a high quality 10x two lens system giving the MDV-05 superb, very low distortion imaging.
